Job Description

Support and work directly with students in grades ranging from early childhood through Middle school.

Ensure safety of students during after school program aligning with campus Health and Safety standards

Deliver a fun and interactive environment for students during their afterschool activities.

Daily support of Lower and Middle school student lunches (miscellaneous division support requests as needed)

Ensure vendor class success with seamless class transition and carpool support.

Preferably some experience working with young children.

Knowledge of and fluency in the English Language

Proficiency with O365

Contribute content and collaborate with Full Time ACE team members to support weekly newsletters showcasing ACE specialty classes and after care highlights and news updates.

Help with preparing classrooms, managing rosters changes, and maintaining inventory of program supply needs.

Job Description

Support and collaborate with ACE team members on lesson plan development creating activities and crafts for after-school class.

Knowledge of policies and procedures to follow while keeping the program structured.

Reliable and timely based on the schedule given.

Calm and patient demeanour with children when disciplining and monitoring the safety of the class.

Works well with others and is a team player.

Self-motivated

Caring and nurturing towards children of all ages

Active and energetic to cultivate a fun environment for the after-school program.

Effective communicator with children and adults.

Required Skills/Abilities

High school diploma or degree

One or more years of experience working with children.

Applicants must be able to perform physically without restrictions while monitoring ACE students.

Strong proficiency with Office 365 for producing rosters, email communication and curriculum plans.

Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.

Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.

Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
