Job Purpose:
Design and implement meaningful, challenging learning experiences aligned with both national (UNAM) and international (IB) curricula. The role aims to promote students’ academic, personal, and social development within a safe, ethical, and collaborative environment, while preparing them for higher education and future career paths.
Responsibilities:
- Academic: Plan, deliver, and evaluate curriculum-aligned lessons using diverse teaching strategies; assess student performance; support diverse learning needs; foster critical thinking; and design formative and summative assessments.
- Operational: Maintain a safe and organized classroom, enforce positive discipline, supervise students, and ensure proper use of resources.
- Administrative: Keep accurate records of attendance and grades, communicate student progress, participate in meetings, and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaboration & Development: Work collaboratively with colleagues, attend school activities, engage in professional development (including IB training), and contribute to continuous academic improvement.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Mathematics, Administration, or related subjects. Experience with differentiated instruction and diverse learning styles. Experience working with adolescents (high school level preferred).
