Nord Anglia International School, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Finance Officer to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.

 

About You

 

We are looking for a driven personality who will advocate and commit in providing excellent finance/accounting and customer service support within the School’s Finance department. This is a customer facing role requiring excellent interpersonal skills.

 

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the school’s accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the school.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies.

  • Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor records, resolve discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries.

  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including checks and ACH transactions.

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.

  • Reporting: Generate and analyse accounts payable reports, assist in month-end closing, and provide support for audits.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualification and experience.

 

  • Bachelors Degree in accounting or any financial related field

  • With a minimum of 3 years accounting or finance experience

  • Native Arabic speaking professional is desirable

  • Experience in education or learning environment
