HR Officer
The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support our dynamic HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality HR services at a leading international school.
The initial contract for this role will be for 6 months, with the potential for extension.
The closing date for applications is 18th May 2025.
About You
You will be a dedicated and highly organised HR professional with a strong understanding of best practice in human resources and a working knowledge of UAE employment law. With experience in a fast-paced HR environment, you thrive on managing multiple responsibilities with efficiency and discretion.
You are confident working independently, yet collaborative in your approach, with excellent communication skills that help you build positive relationships across all levels of an organisation. Your attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to stay calm under pressure make you a reliable point of contact for both staff and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, candidate communication, interviews, and offers

Oversee the onboarding process including reference checks, document collection, and work permit coordination

Support employee induction for new staff

Ensure compliance with ADEK and internal policies

Assist with HR policy development, HRIS management, and HR documentation

Build effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders
