The The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an exceptional IT Technician to join a well-established, supportive team within a highly successful school community

About the Role

 

As IT Technician you will support the organisation and deliver a high level of technicial support to BISAD staff and students.

 

Main duties will include:

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with BISAD computers
  • Perform ongoing maintenance on BISAD's IT equipment
  • Provide technical assistance with IWBs, projectors, printers, photocopiers, phones and other peripheral devices
  • Ensure the security of all ICT assets
  • Use the IT helpdesk to prioritise and track support requests

 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in IT support and helpdesk support systems - Essential
  • Degree level education in relevant discipline - Preferable
  • A good understanding of Office 365 suites - Essential
  • High levels of personal integrity
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
  • Ideally the candidate will already be living in Abu Dhabi
