Job Purpose

The Teacher of Performing Arts is responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive, and student‑centred arts education to primary students, fostering creativity and self-expression through music, drama, and movement. The role supports the development of a vibrant performing arts culture through high-quality teaching, performances, and extracurricular activities, while promoting student wellbeing and continuous professional growth in line with the school’s values and international standards.

About the Role

  • Deliver a dynamic performing arts curriculum to primary students, focusing on foundational skills in music, drama, and movement. 

  • Implement developmentally appropriate, engaging, and inclusive lessons that encourage young students to explore creativity and self-expression. 

  • Provide high-quality instruction in music, drama, and movement. 

  • Foster student-centered learning and age-appropriate methodologies that promote a love for the arts, ensuring a supportive and encouraging classroom environment.

  • Support and facilitate engaging extracurricular activities, clubs and mini-performances for primary students.
