Job Description

Support the class teacher through preparation, delivery and feedback of children’s learning
Identify, plan (in conjunction with the teacher) and lead small booster classes for low ability or more able pupils alongside the class teacher
Support the classroom and its learners during lesson time
Recording and reporting pupils progress and achievements in conjunction with the class teacher
Plan and lead aspects of the curriculum such as Hungarian Culture or EAL support sessions
Provide cover and learning support to other classrooms as and when required for the smooth running of the school
Supervising groups of children to offsite sporting facilities such as swimming
Perform playground supervision duties
Run at least one after school Co-curricular Activity per year

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to engage children and enable them to perform highly
Strong organisational skills
Positive, dedicated to student development, flexible and hardworking
Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development
All positions of employment are dependent on the fulfilment of Hungarian employment law requirements. EU citizenship or a transferable work permit for Hungary is a requirement.
