Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) is looking to recruit an Operations and Facilities Assistant to support the effective implementation of the school’s health and safety strategy and and well-coordinated transportation of students and staff.
Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an Operations and Facilities Assistant to join our team. The role:
We seek a dedicated and proactive Operations and Facilities Assistant to join our school. This dual-role position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating safe and efficient systems for student transport and school operations.
The role focus will be:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily school bus operations to ensure safety, punctuality, and service quality.
- Plan and adjust school bus routes each semester based on student and staff locations.
- Supervise transportation vendors and ensure compliance with safety and insurance requirements.
- Manage bus monitors, drivers, and all school-owned vehicles.
- Support the implementation of the Nord Anglia Education (NAE) Health & Safety strategy.
- Assist with risk assessments, emergency planning, training, and audit compliance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies to meet all health and safety obligations.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Knowledge or experience in transport logistics, school operations, or health & safety is highly desirable.
- A team player with a commitment to student welfare and operational excellence.
