PHE ASSISTANT

Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) is looking to recruit a PHE Assistant.
Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a PHE Assistant to join our team. The role:
We seek a qualified PHE Assistant to join our school where your focus will be:
- Preparing, organizing, and conducting physical education classes.
- Provide support and assistance as directed by the PE Teacher to ensure smooth class operations.
- Help allocate tasks and guide students in completing movements and skills correctly during classes or training sessions.
- Ensure the safety of all students during physical activities, supervising their actions.
- Enforce school discipline and safety guidelines throughout classes or training.
- Handle emergencies, such as student injuries, providing first aid or notifying relevant medical personnel as needed.
- Explain and demonstrate lesson content as needed, ensuring students understand and master it.
- Help prepare equipment and materials needed for lessons and maintain and organize them after class.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning sports activity spaces, ensuring a tidy and safe environment after each class.
- Support the organization of school sports events or competitions, such as sports days and matches.
- Support the academic and social-emotional development of all students.
- Run and/or support After school activities and coaching.
- Participate in department meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
- Support other sports-related activities and projects in the school, assisting with logistics as needed.
- Help in the organization of tournaments and sporting events and fixtures- both internal and interschool.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports science, or a related field is preferred.
- Be able to use English as work language, be able to use English as work language, proficiency in English is essential
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
- Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
- You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
About you

You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment.
