Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Data Analyst – Market Planning to join the Group Corporate Development team.

 

Working closely with the Group Head of Market Planning, you will build, maintain and continuously enhance the core data infrastructure that supports Nord Anglia’s market planning and investment decision making. This is a hands-on, technically demanding role for someone who enjoys working directly with data, building analytical tools and translating complex information into clear strategic insight.

 


 

The role:

 

We seek an individual to join as a Data Analyst – Market Planning where your focus will be:

 

  • Building and maintaining a structured, multi-year master market database by consolidating large, multi-source data sets — including school KPIs, demographics, macroeconomic, real estate and regulatory indicators
  • Developing and maintaining dynamic Power BI dashboards that allow senior leaders to visualise markets, identify trends, forecast growth trajectories and assess long-term demand
  • Owning and managing the investment pipelines across M&A and Real Estate Development, tracking all opportunities accurately from early engagement through to execution
  • Ensuring data accuracy and currency through structured refresh cycles, API integrations and automated ingestion processes using SQL / Python
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and insight materials to support market screening, prioritisation and investment cases
  • Identifying early market change signals and communicating these to the Group Head of Market Planning and senior stakeholders
  • Building scalable, repeatable reporting solutions and templates that can be used consistently across regions and markets
  • Reviewing and improving existing workflows to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency and enhance analytical quality

 


 

The Successful Candidate will possess:

 

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, cleaning and automation
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI or a comparable visualisation tool
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex, multi-source data sets and produce accurate, structured outputs
  • Experience with API integrations and automated data ingestion processes
  • Strong analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to translate data into clear strategic insight
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in pipeline tracking, investment management reporting or a corporate development / strategy function is desirable
