Compass International School Doha (CISD) is looking to appoint an outstanding Marketing Manager to join a well-established and supportive Marketing, Admissions and Communications (MAC) team in a highly successful and growing school. The Marketing Manager plays a strategic and operational leadership role in driving student recruitment, brand growth, community engagement, alignment between school leadership, regional, and central initiatives, and enhancement of partnerships and collaborations across multiple campuses. This role blends strategic marketing planning with hands-on execution, overseeing campaigns, digital presence, content strategy, and brand compliance, while working closely with Admissions, school leadership, and regional Nord Anglia colleagues.
Excellent written and spoken English is required. Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic and English is highly preferred.

About the role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy to support enrolment growth, retention, and brand positioning. The role oversees, but not limited to, marketing planning, campaign execution, digital channels, content creation, events promotions, agency and supplier management, and brand compliance.
The post holder partners closely with the Admissions team to ensure seamless lead generation, conversion, and parent engagement, while upholding Nord Anglia’s brand, safeguarding, and regulatory standards. Lastly, this is a professional role requiring flexibility in working hours to meet business and event requirements, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Strategy (across multiple campuses)
- Develop and implement monthly, annual, and multi-year marketing strategies aligned to enrolment targets, school priorities, school USPs, school messaging, and organizational expectations.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, OOH, and experiential channels.
- Design and implement A/B testing to enhance the user experience, using data and parent feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent, compelling brand positioning across all touchpoints in line with NAE brand guidelines and MoEHE requirements.
- Lead the school’s content strategy, ensuring high-quality storytelling that reflects the school’s values, outcomes, and community.
- Analyse marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and lead data, using insights to optimise future activity and campaign execution times.
Digital Marketing & Brand Management (across multiple campuses)
- Oversee and optimise the school’s website, social media channels, email communications, and paid digital campaigns.
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.
- Manage the creation of photography and videography assets, maintaining a high-quality digital asset library.
- Run required analytics to drive and refine data-driven marketing strategies and perform regular audits to share business intelligence to the school’s MAC department, SLT, and Regional/Central colleagues.
- Ensure all marketing materials (i.e., printed collateral and digital assets) involving students fully comply with safeguarding requirements and parental consent guidelines.
Admissions & Stakeholder Collaboration (across multiple campuses)
- Support the Regional and Central Digital Marketing team to optimize SEO, leverage paid advertising, gain editorial coverage, and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Work in close partnership with the Admissions team to drive enquiry generation, conversion, and retention.
- Support the design and execution of admissions events, open days, and family engagement activities.
- Build strong working relationships with school leaders, staff, families, community partners, regional NAE teams, and the Central office.
- Represent the school at external events, exhibitions, and community initiatives, as required.
Leadership, Project & Vendor Management (across multiple campuses)
- Support the analysis of prior year performance to develop, monitor, and support expected performance management standards from team members.
- Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring quality, value for money, and timely delivery.
- Oversee marketing budgets, forecasts, and spending to ensure effective use of resources to maximise yearly ROIs.
- Plan, track, and deliver projects against agreed timelines and quality standards, holding yourself and team members accountable for outcomes.
Compliance & Governance (across multiple campuses)
- Lead, mentor, and support marketing team members and/or external contractors where applicable.
- Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring quality, value for money, and timely delivery.
Skills and Competencies

- Proven experience in a marketing leadership or managerial role.

- Excellent understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content-led engagement.

The desirable skills for this role are:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design or business administration is highly preferred.
- Previous experience working within an international school or education environment.
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and suppliers.
- Familiarity with brand design and adhering to guidelines.
- Understanding of CRM systems, admissions funnels, and lead management.
- Experience of digital marketing and campaign development.
- Leverage AI platforms and marketing technologies to drive efficiency, including Hootsuite, GA4, Meta Analytics, Mailchimp, Formsite, and software integrations.
- Photography, videography, content creation, editing, blog writing, and graphic design proficiency using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, and Envato.
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferable.
