Finance Manager

Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a School Finance Manager to join NAS Dubai.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to oversee the finance department at NAS Dubai, working closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, regional finance, operations, and marketing teams to drive commercial success and operational efficiency.
The role:
We seek an individual to join as a School Finance Manager where your focus will be:
- Responsible for all month-end and statutory accounts, leading the annual external audit process
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the school
- Managing cash flow and working capital, providing clear visibility on liquidity and risk
- Overseeing Capex reporting, weekly KPI, and cash collection reports
- Supporting the procurement process and overseeing supplier contracts and service agreements
- Providing accurate, timely financial information to Principals, SLT, and budget holders to support decision-making
- Supervising accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and vendor payments
- Overseeing payroll in coordination with HR, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Ensuring full compliance with financial procedures, company policy, and local accounting standards
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting or financial leadership, ideally within education or a service-oriented organisation
- Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, etc.)
- Experience in reporting, consolidation, business planning, and process improvement
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism
