NAS Dubai is a purpose built ‘flagship school’ generously resourced with a whole school enrolment of over 3040. This equates to 1690 in the primary school and 1350 in the secondary school. Our curriculum is based upon the legacy of the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment leading up to GCSE at KS4 and on to the IB Diploma programme and A Levels at KS5. Our GCSE results consistently significantly surpass the world average, with 41% of students achieving A**-*, 9-8 over the last three years (World Average 27.6%). IBDP results are equally as impressive with an average of 20% obtaining over 40+ points over the last three years (IBDP global average 30) and 30% of our attaining A*-A in A Levels.

About the role

 

You’ll provide invaluable strategic advice to the Director of Admissions & Marketing (DAM) on the Dubai and wider UAE market, target audiences, brand, campaign development, and internal and external communications across a variety of marketing channels. More than just an advisor, you’ll work with the DAM to create the school’s annual MAC plan and take responsibility for the execution of marcomms activities, to help drive brand awareness, enquiry generation and parent advocacy.You will oversee public relations, media relations, digital marketing, events and internal communications to ensure consistent, positive representation of the school to all stakeholders, including prospective families, current parents, students, staff, alumni, and the wider community and you’ll also play a pivotal role in building the school community and reputation.

 

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Use data and insights to ensure that M&C tactics are helping to drive enrolment and retention performance across the school.
  • Position the school as a leader in education; maintain the school’s public image, engage the community, and ensuring smooth, transparent communication both internally and externally.
  • Manage and maximise the school’s presence across digital platforms to enhance visibility, engagement, and brand reputation.
  • Provide an outstanding mix of judgement and delivery skills to strengthen our reputation
  • Own your career at Nord Anglia, starting with being a lifelong learner for your own professional development, and you’ll support the development of the M&C team

 

About You

 

  • Degree educated and have at least five years’ demonstrable experience in brand-building, sales and/or marketing roles, ideally in marketing and communication roles.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage and coach a team to achieve business objectives will be part of your repertoire
  • You’ve got superb project management skills and know how to mobilise efforts to launch successful initiatives
  • A natural communicator, adept at building relationships and influencing outcomes at all levels, both inside and outside our organisation
  • Able to prove you love data, with experience of capturing and analysing it, and using it to come up with actionable insights
  • Digitally savvy, able to make a positive contribution to the school’s digital’s footprint of owned, earned and paid media

 

Selection Process

 

The closing date for application is 7th December 2024.  Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews that will take place in December at the Nord Anglia International School Dubai.

 

This is a full-time position, starting from 1st April 2025.   Remuneration is competitive and it includes visa provision.
