Regional Communications Manager, Middle East

Nord Anglia Education – the world’s leading private schools organisation – is recruiting a Regional Communications Manager for the Middle East.
Dubai is our regional headquarters where colleagues across Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Admissions & Communications (MAC), and Operations drive the success of our 8+ schools in 4+ countries.
If you are a creative storyteller, a strategic communicator, and a digital content expert, this role offers the opportunity to lead and shape how our schools engage with families, staff, alumni, and the wider community. You will be responsible for delivering compelling, brand-aligned content across websites, social media, and other owned channels, as well as managing high-impact PR campaigns to support our regional growth.
The Role:
- Develop and oversee content strategy for schools in the Middle East, ensuring high standards and brand consistency across all platforms.
- Plan, create, and publish compelling content that resonates with parents, students, staff, and alumni.
- Lead PR campaigns to launch new schools and support acquisitions, building strong media relationships to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Manage website optimisation, user experience, and governance for the region, driving engagement and lead conversions.
- Oversee SEO initiatives and integrate content strategies to improve search performance.
- Guide schools in developing effective social media engagement strategies, ensuring integration of tools such as Hootsuite.
- Provide direction on the use of email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and support the roll-out of parent portals and school apps.
- Deliver training and share best practice across the region to build communications capability and performance.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in English-language copywriting, journalism, or related discipline.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills across multiple media.
- Experience in website management and optimisation.
- Proven track record managing social media platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
- Excellent time management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-culturally and engage with diverse audiences.
Desirable
- Knowledge of communication programmes such as Mailchimp.
- Experience managing a team.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and data-driven content optimisation.
