In the role of Regional Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the regional finance function and leading on the financial performance of all Nord Anglia schools in the Middle East.
The Role:
As Regional Finance Director your focus will be to:
- Provide financial leadership across the region, ensuring robust management reporting, controls, and performance analysis.
- Lead the strategic direction of the regional finance function, working closely with Principals and regional leadership.
- Manage regional accounting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and treasury activities.
- Analyse and benchmark financial and operational performance, providing insights and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and revenue.
- Oversee and support school finance teams, building capabilities, developing talent and driving consistency.
- Lead the regional shared services strategy, focusing on clustering and centralising finance activities to drive operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with the regional and global teams to support investment proposals, financial modelling, due diligence and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements and act as the primary interface with external auditors.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience.
- Strong background in regional or multi-site finance leadership roles.
- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cashflow management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across senior leadership, Principals and group functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving business performance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
