About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mathematician to join the Secondary School Mathematics department.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced candidates. As a qualified Mathematics Teacher, familiar with curriculum developments of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) and confident working with secondary students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. You will be committed to a modern, inquiry-based, student-centred approach to secondary mathematics education both for the MYP Mathematics and DP Mathematics Applications and Interpretation and/or Analysis and Approaches at standard and higher levels.

You will be an excellent communicator and able to understand and incorporate strategies for effective learning into everyday practice; someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom.

You will also be able to meet visa and work permit-related restrictions for Ireland.
