Teaching and Afterschool Care Assistant

You will support secondary students with their learning, working alongside teachers to help students access the curriculum, stay on task and build confidence in their studies. After school supervision is a core part of this role, and you will be a steady, familiar presence for students from the start of the school day through to early evening.

You will get to know the students you support well, working closely with teaching staff to understand their needs and communicate any concerns. The role suits someone patient, organised and genuinely interested in helping young people succeed.

What you'll do

• An onsite role within a supportive Secondary school team
• A varied day that combines classroom support with pastoral responsibility
• A salary paid over 12 months, even though the role is term time only
