This Role will be based in Europe, either remotely or based in one of our EU schools. 

Job purpose

 

The Educational IT Business Partner (EU) role is to serve as a strategic link between IT and educational operations while championing data analytics to drive business value.

Reporting to the Regional IT Application Manager, this position will be responsible for leading and supporting the Schools Management Information Systems (MIS) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) communities, ensuring efficient use of educational IT applications, and promoting data-driven decision-making.

The role focuses on optimising data analysis processes, empowering educational institutions to extract actionable insights, and driving continuous improvement in the school MIS landscape to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. 

 

Introduction to the Role

 

The Educational IT Business Partner (EU region) plays a pivotal role in leveraging technology and data to drive educational excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance within the organisation. By providing strategic leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative support, this position ensures that technology initiatives align with the educational objectives of Nord Anglia Education, and deliver tangible benefits to students, educators, and stakeholders. As a central point of contact for educational IT applications, the Regional IT Business Partner for Education facilitates collaboration and knowledge sharing among schools, IT departments, and external stakeholders. 

 

Key Functions

 

Optimising Educational Outcomes: Ensure the effective use of School Management Information Systems (MIS) by advocating their proper implementation and maintenance. Work closely with school representatives to understand their technology needs and ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are implemented on time. Consolidate MIS report-building activities and support schools' data needs from a regional perspective.

 

Enhancing Data Accuracy and Integrity: Oversee data quality assurance processes to ensure that all information in the MIS systems is accurate and consistent. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making by providing guidance on data analysis tools and best practices for educational stakeholders.

 

Supporting Compliance and Security: Collaborate with Data Protection Officer (DPO) Leads to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR. Promote data privacy and security best practices within the School DPOs community, safeguarding sensitive information.

 

Enhancing Operational Efficiency: Act as the primary point of contact for the European Region's educational IT applications, ensuring timely support and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Oversee incident management, monitor performance through KPIs/Dashboards, and provide technical expertise for troubleshooting.

 

Driving Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for technology integration and workflow optimisation by analysing data trends. Lead initiatives to enhance technology use in education and support continuous improvement. Develop training programs to empower school staff in effectively using MIS platforms and reporting tools. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in educational data management.
