Job Description
The Admission Officer is responsible for managing the entire student admission process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective families. This role involves handling inquiries, conducting school tours, processing applications, and coordinating enrollment activities while promoting Oakridge International School’s values and academic offerings. The Admission Officer will play a key role in increasing student enrollments by building relationships, guiding families through the decision-making process, and supporting the school’s growth objectives.
1. Admissions Process Management
- Handle all admission inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing prompt and accurate information about the school.
- Guide prospective students and parents through the admission process, from initial inquiry to enrollment confirmation.
- Maintain accurate records of admissions-related data, applications, and student details using the school’s CRM or database system.
- Process applications, verify documents, and coordinate admission assessments, interviews, and entrance exams.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for newly admitted students and their families.
2. School Tours and Parent Engagement
- Conduct personalized and group school tours for prospective parents, showcasing the school’s facilities, curriculum, and extracurricular programs.
- Organize and participate in open houses, admission events, and outreach programs to engage potential students and families.
- Address parents’ concerns and queries, helping them make informed decisions regarding their child’s education.
3. Marketing & Outreach
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute admission campaigns, promotional materials, and online/offline engagement strategies.
- Represent Oakridge International School at education fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to attract new enrollments.
- Work closely with social media and digital marketing teams to enhance the school’s online presence and visibility.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Track and analyze admission inquiries, applications, and conversion rates to support strategic planning.
- Prepare regular reports for management on enrollment trends, parent feedback, and admission performance.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of student records and admission-related documents.
5. Coordination with Internal Departments
- Liaise with the academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth admission operations and timely communication of relevant information.
- Work closely with finance and accounts teams to provide parents with information about tuition fees, payment plans, and financial policies.
- Assist with student placement and class allocation based on curriculum requirements and availability.
