Job Description
The Associate MYP Programme Coordinator supports the MYP Coordinator in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the IB Middle Years Programme. The role focuses on assisting with curriculum planning, assessment practices, teacher support, and ensuring that the programme aligns with IB standards and school policies.
1. Programme Support
- Assist the MYP Coordinator in the implementation and development of the MYP curriculum.
- Support the daily operations and coordination of MYP activities and initiatives.
2. Curriculum Coordination
- Work with subject teachers to develop and review unit planners and curriculum documents.
- Support interdisciplinary learning and cross-curricular collaboration.
3. Assessment & Student Learning
- Assist in monitoring assessment practices and student progress across MYP subjects.
- Support teachers in designing authentic assessments aligned with IB criteria.
4. Teacher Support & Professional Development
- Provide guidance to teachers on MYP pedagogy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment methods.
- Support professional development workshops and training sessions.
