Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic role responsible for aligning HR practices with the school’s goals and educational mission. Acting as a trusted advisor to school leadership and faculty, the HRBP supports workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, performance development, and change management. The role ensures that HR initiatives promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:

Collaborate with school leadership to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.

Align HR strategies with academic and operational goals.

Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and lead recruitment for teaching, administrative, and support staff.

Ensure timely onboarding and orientation of new hires.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
Employee Relations & Engagement:

Foster a positive work environment through proactive engagement and support.

Handle employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.

Develop and implement initiatives that support staff well-being and retention.
Performance Management & Development:

Support performance appraisal processes and goal-setting practices.

Collaborate with department heads to identify professional development needs.

Guide leadership and staff on career development opportunities and succession planning.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:

Ensure compliance with labor laws, school policies, and relevant educational regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and records.
