Job Description
The MYP Biology & Integrated Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based science instruction aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The teacher will develop students’ understanding of biological concepts and integrated science topics through practical investigations, conceptual learning, and interdisciplinary connections.
Curriculum Planning & Instruction
-
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology and Integrated Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics basics) aligned with the IB MYP framework.

Develop concept-driven and inquiry-based unit plans incorporating global contexts and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
Laboratory & Practical Work
-
Design and supervise hands-on experiments, laboratory investigations, and science projects.

Ensure safe laboratory practices and proper use of scientific equipment and chemicals.
Assessment & Student Progress
-
Design and implement formative and summative assessments aligned with MYP criteria.

Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to improve learning outcomes.
Collaboration & School Engagement
-
Work collaboratively with the Science department to design curriculum and interdisciplinary units.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and school initiatives.
