SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- You hold a University Degree in Teaching to secondary students, and ideally a PGCE in Drama Teaching or related field.
- Proven experience teaching Drama in a classroom setting.
- Native-level English or equivalent fluency. Billingual French / English profiles will be of particular interest.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate adolescents.
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in an international school environment.
- Experience working in extracurricular theatre productions or school performances.
- Bilingual French and English.
- Experience in interdisciplinary or creative curriculum design.
- Experience in teaching English would be an asset.

You demonstrate a strong passion for Drama and Performing Arts education and have the ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and expressive skills in students. You build excellent relationships with students through a fair and empathetic approach, supported by strong organisational skills. A collaborative and proactive team player, you thrive in a dynamic international school environment and adapt with flexibility to its demands. As a native English speaker, or with equivalent fluency, you communicate effectively, encouraging students to be creative and to reflect thoughtfully on their performances, while consistently meeting tight deadlines as part of a team.

It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.
