Job Purpose

The Admissions Manager plays a key role in leading and delivering a high-quality admissions experience at The Metropolitan School of Panama. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Marketing, the role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the admissions function, ensuring a seamless and family-centered journey from initial enquiry through enrolment.

The Admissions Manager leads a small team, drives best practices, and ensures that admissions processes are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with Nord Anglia Education standards. The role also contributes to enrolment growth through strong relationship management, operational excellence, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admissions Operations and Team Leadership.
  • Lead, manage, and support the Admissions team to deliver a high-quality service to prospective families.
  • Act as a role model, ensuring consistent application of best practices and professional standards.
  • Oversee enquiry management, visits, follow-up, and enrolment processes.

Family Experience and Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions journey
  • Ensure a welcoming, professional, and personalized experience aligned with MET and Nord Anglia standards
  • Lead and coordinate campus visits, school tours, and orientation processes

Data Management and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of admissions data, including enquiries, visits, and enrolments
  • Monitor pipeline performance and conversion rates
  • Support the DAM to prepare regular reports to senior leadership to support decision making and strategic planning

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with the Director of Admissions and Marketing to align admissions strategies with enrolment targets
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure alignment with school capacity and priorities
  • Build and maintain relationships with relocation agents, corporate partners, and external organizations

Recruitment and School Promotion

  • Support and participate in recruitment events such as Open Days, fairs, and community initiatives
  • Contribute to outreach strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of the school
  • Promote positive parent engagement and word-of-mouth referrals

Retention and Continuous Improvement

  • Support student retention initiatives, including surveys, follow-up, and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement within the admissions function through data analysis and feedback
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers high standards of service and performance

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • Experience in admissions, customer service, or a service-driven environment, preferably within an international school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing data accurately
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
