Job Purpose:
The PYP Curriculum Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and continuous development of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The coordinator is responsible for guiding and supporting teachers in designing and delivering an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum that aligns with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and standards.
Professional Duties:
The PYP Curriculum Coordinator ensures the effective implementation and ongoing development of the IB Primary Years Program (PYP).
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential

A university degree and a teaching qualification

Suitable and relevant amount of experience in an international school

Proven record of successful leadership at a middle level in a primary school.

A willingness to work as an integral part of a dynamic team

A positive, ‘can do’ attitude
Desirable

A Master's degree in the field of education

Previous international experience.

Knowledge of ISAMs
