Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join our dynamic Admissions and Marketing department, with a special focus on supporting our Korean families. As the Korean Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication between the school and our Korean-speaking community, ensuring a smooth and welcoming admissions process. This role requires a strong understanding of Korean culture, excellent communication skills in English and Korean, and the ability to provide personalized support to prospective and current students and their families. You will also work closely with our marketing and admissions teams to enhance our outreach efforts within the Korean community, ensuring that our school is accessible and appealing to families seeking a top-tier international education for their children.

Requirements:

• The candidate must be either a Korean native or a Chinese native
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Good cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills, with an affinity for interacting with diverse nationalities and cultures.
• Experience within a service delivery sector, education sector experience it’s a bonus.
• Proven track record in customer service, satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
• Fluency in both English ( written and spoken) is a must.
• Fluency in Korean (written and spoken) is a must.
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
• Experience working with a CRM and/or iSams is a plus.
• A warm, personable, and curious character.
• Creative and technical thinking ability.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to different tasks at hand.
• Proactive and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved, calm working under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with prospective families to understand their needs and aspirations.
• Facilitate admissions processes and ensure a seamless experience from inquiry to enrollment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean families facilitating clear and effective communication between school and Korean speaking parents ensuring cultural understanding and sensitivity.
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize marketing and recruitment strategies tailored to Korean community.
• Assist in organising and conducting school tours, open days and orientation sessions specifically tailored for Korean families.
• Support the development of marketing materials, website and social media content in Korean language.
• Support one to one translations with families when required,
• Meet challenging performance indicators and contribute to the school's growth objectives.
