 British Vietnamese International School Hanoi is looking to appoint DEPUTY HEAD OF PRIMARY, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators, in our high-performing Primary Section. 

DEPUTY HEAD OF PRIMARY 

 

Applications are invited from successful leaders with experience in primary schools that follow the English National Curriculum, either in the UK or overseas. Experience of bilingual learning would be an advantage.

Applicants are expected to be inspirational leaders of innovation and drive a dynamic team to achieve academic excellence within our premium international, bilingual learning environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment, consistency and progression across the whole school. They will be comfortable as part of our high-performance culture in which excellence is expected.

The Deputy Head of Primary will be an excellent communicator, with integrity and humility at the core of all their actions. They will possess the necessary agility and flexibility to assimilate to the school’s values of Global Citizenship and Vietnamese Perspective. 

We’ll look to you to provide effective leadership and advice to staff, students and parents while inspiring an atmosphere of energy, excitement and achievement. You will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Selection Process

 

The closing date for application is 09 October 2025 although we encourage early applications and reserve the right to pursue good applications as soon as we are ready.

The interview will be conducted online.

A scanned copy of relevant degree certificates will also need to be provided.
