Primary School PE Teacher

British Vietnamese International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Primary School PE Teacher, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators.

About the role

You will be an outstanding EYFS & Primary PE teacher who sparks joy in movement for every child. Through creative, play-based lessons you will master the EYFS Goals and Primary curriculum, building agility, balance and coordination while weaving in English language and teamwork.

You will expertly differentiate for EAL, SEND and gifted pupils, using sharp AfL to set bold, child-owned targets. As a relentless champion of inclusion and resilience, you will lead sports clubs, tournaments and events, ensuring every child leaves confident, physically literate and hungry for an active life.

The ability to teach Primary Dance would be of interest but is not essential.

About you

With the ability to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a university degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement, and personal investment within the classroom. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Vietnam, including a minimum of three years teaching experience, full QTS status and a relevant degree.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 30th of November 2025 although we encourage early applications and reserve the right to pursue good applications as soon as we are ready.

The interview will be conducted online.
