British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2026.
The Role
The Computer Science Department at BIS Hanoi is a forward-looking, collaborative, and innovative team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge education that responds to emerging trends in technology. We pride ourselves on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills in our students.
Our curriculum, inspired by the English National Curriculum, equips students in Years 7-9 with a strong foundation in both theoretical, practical computing concepts and digital citizenship. Our KS3 curriculum builds on a strong foundation in computing in Years 1-6. In Years 10-11, we offer Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science, progressing to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12-13, where students are challenged to apply their knowledge in increasingly sophisticated ways.
We are seeking an outstanding teacher who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3-5. The ideal candidate will be an innovative educator with a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and excite learners of all abilities. Strong collaboration skills and experience with Python programming are essential.
