British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of Korean to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2025 until the beginning of December 2025 (exact dates will be confirmed on offer).

The role

The Korean department at BIS Hanoi is a vibrant and welcoming team within our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) faculty. Which comprises of a group of dedicated, forward-thinking teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering a love for the Korean language and culture.

Students study first-language Korean from Year 7 onwards, progressing to our internally accredited BISC Korean course in Years 10 & 11, which equips them with the skills needed for the academic rigour of the IBDP. Uptake in Years 12 & 13 is strong, with many students continuing to Higher Level and consistently achieving outstanding academic results. More than just a place to learn, our Korean department is a community where students feel a true sense of belonging, encouraged to explore their language and heritage in a supportive and inspiring environment.
