British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of SEHS and Academic PE to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2026.
The role
At BIS Hanoi, our Physical Education Department is a dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking team of passionate educators dedicated to inspiring students and fostering a lifelong love of movement. We aim to nurture the love of movement, communication, teamwork, reflection, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, empowering students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
We are seeking experienced and motivated teachers of IGCSE Physical Education and IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS) to join our energetic, ambitious, and inclusive department. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of academic PE pathways and content such as exercise physiology, nutrition, biomechanics, sports psychology and motor learning and be experienced in teaching students aged 14–18 years old. They will demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners, while also supporting their academic and personal growth through inquiry-based and concept-driven learning. In addition to teaching IGCSE and IBDP, there will be a core PE teaching component, as well as contributions to the school’s rich and diverse sports teams and fixtures.
