Job Duties:

  • Resolve help desk tickets in a timely fashion
  • Monitor the school help desk in support of all school staff and students
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of all staff and student facing desktops, laptops, tablets,
  • AV equipment, operating systems and applications for all offices and classrooms
  • Prepare staff devices for distribution
  • Organize and support all student devices including
  • Chromebooks, MacBooks and iPads
  • Assist in maintaining IT asset inventory
  • Assist with and support AV setups for in school events
  • Maintain classroom technology to support educational needs
  • Provide support for all IT related projects (there will be occasional out of hours working, including nights and weekends)
  • Assist with and/or perform hardware repairs to broken devices
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Degree qualified and/or relevant professional qualification and experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Experience supporting macOS, iOS, Chrome OS and Windows
  • Experience using a help desk ticketing system ▪ Professional and patient approach to customer service
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Office 365
  • Apple Certified Support Professional certification (or completion within 90 days of employment)
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with wired/wireless networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team worker who can also be an independent self-starter Essential
  • Experience with JAMF and/or inTune
  • Experience repairing MacBooks and Chromebooks
  • Experience working in education
