Job Description

Providing strategic support to SLT in the area of Academic Development Plan (short-term and long-term), driving Teaching & Learning Excellence, Curriculum Leadership, Student Achievement, Faculty Development, Academic Innovation, Accreditation & Compliance, and enabling decision-making through Academic Analytics and performance dashboards.

Providing academic operational support to the School Leadership Team in the areas of curriculum implementation, assessment and reporting, instructional coaching, faculty development, student interventions, accreditation processes, university pathways, innovation programmes, and academic budget management.

Providing timely and accurate academic data, insights, and reports to the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and Regional Academic Team.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject; B.Ed. mandatory.
  • 10+ years of experience in K–12 education with 5+ years in a senior academic leadership role.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading Teaching & Learning functions and managing large academic teams (140+ staff).
  • Deep knowledge of IB PYP, Cambridge, CBSE, and/or IB Diploma Programme, including curriculum design, assessment, and instructional leadership.
  • Strong understanding of accreditation, authorization, and compliance requirements across IB, Cambridge, and CBSE.
  • Proven ability to drive academic excellence through data analysis, assessment frameworks, and continuous school improvement.
  • Strong strategic planning, project management, and execution skills.
  • Excellent instructional coaching, mentoring, and faculty development capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Professional, ethical, and student-centred approach to leadership.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in leading educational innovation, change management, and curriculum transformation.
