IBDP Psychology Teacher – Oakridge International School

Oakridge International School is seeking an experienced and passionate IBDP Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and to support students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Psychology lessons as per the IBDP curriculum and assessment criteria.

  • Develop students’ inquiry, research, analytical, and critical thinking skills in line with the IB learner profile.

  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.

  • Use varied teaching strategies including case studies, research-based learning, and experiential methods.

  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.

  • Integrate Theory of Knowledge concepts where applicable.

  • Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and standardization activities.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school events and the IB community.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including IB training.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.

  • IBDP training or certification preferred.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Psychology at IBDP or equivalent level.

  • Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment practices.
