Music Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled General Music Teacher to provide high-quality music education across grade levels. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, musical skills, and an appreciation for music through engaging lessons, performances, and co-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach general music to students across primary and/or middle school levels

• Plan and deliver lessons covering vocal music, rhythm, instruments, and basic theory

• Introduce students to various music styles, traditions, and cultures

• Organize and prepare students for assemblies, concerts, and special events

• Foster creativity, expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music

• Use varied teaching methods to engage students with different learning styles

• Maintain classroom instruments and manage music resources

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues for cross-disciplinary activities and performances

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field

• Recognized teaching certification (B.Ed., Diploma in Music Education, etc.)

• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting

• Proficiency in vocal music and/or at least one musical instrument
