Job Title: Student Advisor / Psychologist
Location: Oakridge International School, Bachupally
Department: Student Support Services
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The Student Advisor / Psychologist supports students’ emotional, social, and academic well-being. This role involves providing counseling, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling support to students for emotional, behavioral, and academic issues

• Conduct individual and group sessions to promote mental wellness

• Support student well-being through workshops, awareness programs, and SEL activities

• Work with teachers and coordinators to implement student support strategies

• Monitor and follow up on student behavior, attendance, and academic performance

• Offer guidance in areas such as peer issues, exam stress, and motivation

• Ensure confidentiality and maintain student records

• Support positive behavior initiatives and school-wide wellness efforts

• Serve as a liaison between students, parents, and staff

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field (mandatory for Psychologist)

• 2–5 years of experience in student counseling or advisory roles

• Experience in a school setting is preferred

• Exposure to international school environments is an advantage
