The British School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) offers an exciting opportunity for an outstanding, internationally experienced leader to guide one of Malaysia’s most respected international schools into its next chapter of success.

We prefer a start date of summer 2026 but will wait until summer 2027 for the right candidate.

THE SCHOOL

Founded in 2009, BSKL has grown into a thriving community of over 1,400 students aged 2 to 18, delivering the English National Curriculum in a warm, inclusive environment. Our students consistently achieve exceptional academic results - recently, 67% of IGCSE grades were A*-A and over 50% of A-Level grades were A*-A - while also excelling in the arts, sports, and leadership.

We’re seeking a visionary and strategic leader with a strong track record in school leadership, ideally within a UK or international context. You’ll bring deep experience with the UK curriculum and post-16 education, and a passion for inspiring high-performing teams. You understand how to balance educational excellence with commercial performance, and you’re confident using data to drive improvement and meet clear KPIs across academics, finance, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, global environment, contributing to the wider success of Nord Anglia Education while leading your school with clarity, purpose, and ambition.
