Purpose of the position:

To lead, manage, and continuously improve the Secondary School, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, student wellbeing, and operational excellence, while fostering an innovative, safe, and inclusive educational environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the effective, safe, and smooth operation of the Secondary School.

• Guide curriculum planning, implementation, assessment systems, and academic documentation.

• Inspire, support, mentor, and evaluate coordinators and teachers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with key academic and administrative departments to align goals and initiatives.

• Oversee the management of resources, budgets, and academic events.

• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding protocols, and digital citizenship standards.

• Promote a positive school culture based on respect, responsibility, and high expectations.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of leadership experience in Secondary School settings.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).

• Strong expertise in curriculum development, assessment practices, and modern pedagogical approaches.

• Proven ability as an effective communicator, team builder, and instructional leader.

• Experience with international programmes (e.g., IB or similar) is highly desirable.

• Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.

• Strong commitment to innovation, student-centered learning, and staff professional development.
