Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Global Recruitment Team (GRT) Finance Manager with financial planning and analysis activity as well as financial administrative tasks. Support account payable activity, coordinate commission calculations, contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Support weekly reporting on sales and pipeline, target setting, and live profitability tracking, including analysis of profitability by region, market, and salesperson. Collaborate closely with the GRT wider team as well as Central Marketing and Finance team to support day to day operation.
The role:
As Accountant your focus will be:
- Partner with the GRT to manage and understand the cost base, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and strategic growth.
- Provide accurate and timely management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting support.
- Ensure financial risks are identified and communicated to senior leadership.
- Coordinate commission payments and ensure timely processing of invoices and expenses.
- Maintain robust financial controls and support cost recovery, recharges, and contracting arrangements.
- Develop and maintain profitability tracking tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
- Work closely with Accounts Payable and Treasury teams to manage payments and funding across multiple entities.
- Support the financial planning cycle, including detailed budgeting and regular forecasting.
- Deliver insightful business analytics and trend analysis to inform decision-making.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Degree in finance/accounting or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
- Professional accounting qualifications (ACA or equivalent) (or working toward such path)
- Strong academic performance at tertiary level in the relevant discipline
- IFRS and UK GAAP
- Cost reporting and Assistance with the management of a Central support entity
- Business partnering with Senior Management (outside Finance) providing support to help non-Finance people understand Finance numbers.
- Risk identification, process improvement and internal controls development
- Knowledge of financial systems, including Navision and OneStream. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
