Capacity and Capital Analyst
Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Capital and Capacity Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for driving Nord Anglia’s growth strategy by providing research, analysis and transaction support in the sourcing and execution of real estate projects.
As a genuine team-player, you’ll work cross-functionally with our central, regional and school teams to leverage operational data to generate capacity to facilitate organic growth and ultimately maximise EBITDA goals for the organisation.
The role:
As Capital and Capacity Planning Analyst your focus will be:
- Supporting NAEs strategy for capacity creation across all schools globally.
- Utilising operational data analytics to continually review capacity constraints in NAE’s existing campuses based on existing capacity and local supply/demand dynamics.
- Supporting NAE’s capital allocation process of driving projects from inception to submission to Investment Committee (“IC”).
- Contributing to long term capex planning and annual capex budgeting process.
- Reviewing financial models and provide feedback to regional teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Liaising with regional teams to monitor projects progress, risk and spend.
- Working with Regional teams to develop the best options for expansion projects, involving external advisers when required.
- Providing research and analysis to support regional teams to negotiate commercial, development and financing terms for major expansion projects.
- Supporting regions in pre-project concept analysis by conducting market research.
- Developing a pipeline of opportunities in priority markets.
- Supporting project development & execution.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Strong academic background.
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting concepts and practice.
- Understanding of fundamentals of real estate investment and investment analysis.
- Outstanding analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, strong PowerPoint skills.
- Highly numerate with a sound understanding of what lays behind numbers and drive revenues and profitability.
- Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Very visibly demonstrates integrity in their interactions with colleagues
- Values and not rules driven.
- Not afraid of making decisions.
- Ability to work in teams, independently and under pressure.
