Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Corporate Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Nord Anglia Education’s (“NAE’s”) growth strategy by providing full transaction support to the 3 major types of corporate development projects (Acquisition transactions, New build projects and Existing campus expansions), with a focus on acquisition projects.
The role:
As Corporate Development Manager your focus will be:
- Developing a sound working knowledge of the premium school market and of market participants to allow market prioritisation.
- Driving and managing internal and external geographical markets studies and sub-sector analysis.
- Supporting the team in identifying potential acquisition and new build opportunities in line with NAE’s Corporate Development strategy
- Participating in all phases of the transaction such as LOI, IM reviews, Due Diligence, structuring, negotiation, legal documentation, integration plan, etc.
- Taking a key role in key aspects of transaction processes including management of due diligence
- Analysing financial statements and data, and prepare complex financial models
- Developing and manage the transaction data room, coordinate with external advisors and internal working teams on data room material preparation and collection
- Supporting the production of the integration and issues mitigation plans during acquisition, in close cooperation with the Heads of Corporate Development in regions, the Head of Transaction Delivery and Integration and with Regional teams and Central functions
- Ensuring that best practice and proven processes are followed from plans generation to execution
- Ensuring all key elements of due diligence are included in the integration and remediation plans and adequate measures are in place and have been validated by the regions/central functions/Exco/Board depending on priorities
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Experience working in a deal environment, preferably in (by order of preference) Corporate M&A, Private Equity, transaction team of a Big 4 accounting firm, Investment bank, management consultant with transaction experience from a top consulting firm
- Outstanding analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, strong PowerPoint skills
- Highly numerate with a sound understanding of what lays behind numbers and drive revenues and profitability.
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting
