EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).
Offer a fixed term contract from February to August 2025.
Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an Education Technology Research Associate to join our Education team, sat within Group Central Support – our global headquarters.
We are looking for someone to support our schools - and individual teachers – with exploring EdTech and evaluating its impact in the classroom. The Research Associate will support the Digital Lab by creating the research design, research tools, data analysis and final reports to ensure our pilots are impactful and meaningful. They will also work to produce monthly reports which consist of literature reviews and an overview of edtech tools available, framed around a problem statement raised by our teachers.
The role:
We seek an individual to join as an Education Technology Research Associate where your focus will be:
- Designing and implementing research methodologies for EdTech pilots. This includes creating research tools, coordinating data collection, conducting data analysis, and producing impactful reports that inform future teaching practices and technology usage across schools.
- Engaging with school leaders, teachers, and technology vendors to gather relevant information for pilots. Facilitate feedback loops and support teachers in understanding research outcomes and implementing suggested best practices.
- Analysing pilot data to draw actionable insights, collaborating with teachers to ensure findings are applicable and accessible. Summarise outcomes and recommendations that align with the Lab’s strategic focus on enhancing classroom technology.
- Producing clear and concise reports that highlight research findings, success stories, and case studies from across Nord Anglia schools. Ensure these reports are engaging, relevant, and contribute to a deeper understanding of EdTech's impact on teaching and learning.
- Developing monthly reports that include comprehensive literature reviews and market scans. Frame findings around specific problem statements from teachers, providing an overview of relevant EdTech tools and current trends to inform school-based decision-making.
- Keeping updated on emerging trends and tools in the EdTech market. Communicate developments to the Lab team, identifying tools that align with the Lab’s strategic areas of focus.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including experience in designing research studies, creating surveys, and analysing data.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Research Methodology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred), or experience in an educational setting.
- Proficient in using research software (e.g., SPSS, R, or Excel) for data analysis and visualisation; comfortable with various EdTech tools and platforms.
- Strong writing skills with experience in drafting research reports, literature reviews, and summaries that convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
