In the role of Group Head of Strategy and Delivery, you will be responsible for advancing Nord Anglia Education’s strategic priorities and enterprise transformation agenda, working closely with the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer.

 

Acting as a senior strategic partner to the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer, the role leads significant strategic workstreams supporting delivery of the Nord Anglia Education 5-Year Model and other priority initiatives. The role holder will translate strategic priorities into operational plans, working across functions, regions and schools to drive alignment and execution across the organisation.

 

The role will chair cross-functional forums with senior stakeholders, provide constructive challenge where required, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

 

Operating with delegated authority from the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer, the Group Head will deputise where required, represent the Strategy & Delivery function in senior internal forums, and engage with external stakeholders, including investors, advisors and members of the Education Advisory Board.

 

The role independently leads complex initiatives and assumes responsibility for substantial strategic projects, relieving the CSDO of significant delivery responsibilities while ensuring progress against Nord Anglia’s growth and transformation objectives.

 

The role:

As Group Head of Strategy and Delivery your focus will be:

  • Lead major strategic initiatives in support of Nord Anglia Education’s corporate strategy and 5-Year Model.
  • Develop operational plans translating corporate priorities into enterprise programmes with measurable business impact.
  • Take ownership of significant strategic workstreams delegated by the CSDO.
  • Chair cross-functional forums with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Maintain executive dashboards and reporting frameworks to track delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Partner with IT, MAC and other central teams to accelerate the organisation’s use of data and AI in support of strategic priorities.
  • Support identification and prioritisation of high-value AI and data initiatives aligned to revenue growth, operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Partner with the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that enhance organisational readiness for future market-facing opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning cycles, including scenario modelling, risk assessments, and readiness reviews for potential capital strategy pathways.
  • Oversee delivery of transformation programmes that align with long-term growth, transparency, and investor-grade performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory and disclosure expectations.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting tools to track progress against strategic readiness milestones.
  • Act as a key liaison with external advisors and consultants supporting strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Represent the Strategy & Delivery function in senior internal forums when deputising for the Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation including EXCO members, regional leadership teams and functional heads.
  • Engage with external stakeholders including investors, advisors and members of the Education Advisory Board as required.
  • Prepare and present strategic materials for senior governance forums, including executive and board-level audiences.

 

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional certifications in strategy, transformation, or programme management (e.g. PROSCI, PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent) advantageous.
  • Significant experience operating in strategy, transformation, corporate development, consulting or enterprise delivery roles within complex international organisations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple geographies or business units.
  • Demonstrated experience translating corporate strategy into operational programmes and driving enterprise execution.
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams and preparing materials for board-level or investor-level discussions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders across functions and regions.
  • Experience operating in private equity-backed or high-growth organisations advantageous.
  • Ability to identify organisational risks, dependencies and opportunities in complex business environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of growth, operational efficiency and enterprise value drivers.
  • Ability to chair senior forums, drive decision-making and challenge constructively where required.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to represent the Strategy & Delivery function when deputising for the CSDO.
