Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Head of Finance Transformation, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of finance systems, processes, and structures across Nord Anglia Education. By working with colleagues across the Finance, Technology, and Regional teams, you will drive strategic initiatives that modernise and harmonise financial operations globally.
You’ll help us deliver integrated project planning, stakeholder engagement, and governance frameworks that support successful transformation outcomes. You’ll explain complex financial and technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and ensure alignment across regions and departments.
You will have responsibility of the finance system landscape both in terms of BAU operations and future initiatives.
The role:
As Head of Finance Transformation your focus will be:
- Lead integrated project planning and governance for finance transformation initiatives
- Develop and manage cross-project dependencies and synergies
- Manage risk, issues, and quality assurance throughout project lifecycle
- Define and manage scope, deliverables, and vendor responsibilities
- Lead ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Navision to ensure optimal performance and alignment with evolving business needs
- Collaborate with CIO and regional finance directors to plan and execute upgrades
- Manage implementation of Navision into newly acquired schools, including readiness assessments, training, and support
- Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and Head of FP&A to continuously review and improve the use of OneStream.
- Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced reporting, and streamlined planning processes.
- Document current processes and design future-state workflows
- Provide valuable analytics to support initiatives to drive commercial performance as the central source of knowledge of the KPIs and key data available across the organisation
- Provide effective leadership and ensure development of the Global Finance team to ensure all business objectives are met.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in finance transformation and project management
- Strong understanding of financial systems, COA structures, and ERP implementations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams
- Excellent relationship builder that transcends levels of seniority
- ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong academic and intellectual background, degree level, desired
- Strong commercial background, previously worked for international multi-site organisation
- Experience of fast paced dynamic environments
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Experience of multiple geographically spread organisations
