Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Research Executive, you will be the point person for our global research agenda, you’ll use research insights to help drive commercial value across MAC function. Through a combination of annual global research projects and smaller ad-hoc projects, you’ll adapt quickly to business needs in any part of the world, and provide exceptional value in the research space.

 

As a trusted advisor to school, regional and central colleagues, you’ll help the organisation to better understand research data, connecting the dots from research streams and functions to deliver rich insights.

 

You’ll create and drive a strategy to best inform product fit in each market, managing the quality and consistency of research projects, identifying the best research partners. You’ll also develop and integrate new research methodologies, ensuring each project is fit for purpose, and delivering optimum value.

 

The role:

As Research Executive your focus will be to:

  • Support the Senior Manager of Global Research with the day to day running of key market research surveys.
  • Support the development and delivery of a series of research and insight projects to provide a detailed understanding of the key drivers to help improve family satisfaction and in order to identify opportunities to grow.
  • Work with NAEs MAC, Education, HR, schools and regional teams to deliver effective insight and modelling by:
  • Deliver high quality primary market research (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Work with analysts in the team to integrate various data sources (incl. macroeconomics, market trends etc.)
  • Day to day project management of FXI – our global customer experience programme.
    • Set up and distribute new surveys
    • Help schools with communication of the surveys to encourage responses
    • Analysis and reporting of the survey data, identifying the stories in the data
  • Delivery of our plan to evolve the programme from parent only, to include teacher and student surveys
  • Working with research partners to ensure the timely delivery of key global research projects, which could include:
    • Market Share
    • Mystery Shopping
    • Brand Research

 

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Experience in a market research role, with broad experience of both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience of working on large scale customer research projects in a large customer service and/or commercial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate qualitative & quantitative information gathered from multiple sources, internal and external to the business.
  • Ability to translate complex numerical data into easily understandable formats for onward communication and use. This should include development of recommendations for high level understanding and action planning.
  • Experience of using PowerPoint and excel for analysis and reporting. Experience of Qualtrics surveys and dashboards and Power BI would be beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Has experience of or an interest in developing story telling with research results.
