Safeguarding and Wellbeing Coordinator

 

Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

In the role of Safeguarding and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for working closely with Regional Safeguarding Directors and school safeguarding leads to implement policy, practice and wellbeing strategies across all schools and regions.

You will support the quality, consistency, organisation and analysis of safeguarding records, data and reporting ensuring schools and regions have accurate information to inform decision making and continuous improvement.

 

The role:

As Safeguarding and Wellbeing Coordinator your focus will be:

  • Promote the safety and wellbeing of children, whilst considering the context in which students live and learn.
  • Collect, collate and present safeguarding data and information.
  • Support schools and Regional Safeguarding Directors/Leads to promote the wellbeing of children.
  • Maintain records, compile data and monitor the quality and completeness of information.
  • Use data, evaluations and feedback to support schools with their continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update safeguarding and wellbeing content on internal platforms (e.g. Nord Anglia University).

 

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding, wellbeing and mental health issues faced by children and young people.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to organise, interpret and explain data and information.
  • Confidence in preparing information for a range of audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
