We’re looking to recruit an outstanding Spanish Teacher to join our Manila school, a Nord Anglia Education school.

THE ROLE

 

You’ll help us create and maintain a positive learning environment for NAISM students.

 

You’ll explain why the subject being taught is relevant and valuable in a real-life context.

KEY RESULTS AREA

 

ENGAGEMENT AND INTERACTION – SCHOOL AMBASSADOR TO INTERNAL COMMUNITY

 

  • Help us to build a supportive and challenging community, with wellbeing at its’ heart.
  • Work with all members of the NAISM community to maximise our impact.

 

LEARNING AND TEACHING

 

  • Create outstanding learning opportunities for our students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Plan and deliver lessons with a view to foster a love of learning as well as success in assessments (internal and external).
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback (written and oral) to students about their progress and next learning steps.
  • Prepare written reports of student performance and progress and conduct parental conferences.

 

PLANNING AND PREPARATION

 

  • Support with development of a high-quality curriculum and assessment profile.
  • Plan and deliver outstanding lessons which are personalised to the specific needs of the students in the class.

 

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

 

  • Maintain a growth mindset towards continued professional development.

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

 

  • Degree in a relevant subject AND a relevant professional teaching qualification.
  • Extensive experience teaching in a secondary (and ideally international) school environment.
  • Proven track record of success in IGCSE/AS/A level examinations.
  • A positive, ‘can-do’ work ethic.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
  • Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
  • Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
  • You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector

SELECTION PROCESS: There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview.  First stage interviews will be conducted via online video calls and final interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week commencing 22nd January 2025 (alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who cannot attend in person).
