The role of Boarding Assistant provides a young graduate with first-hand experience of the life of a bilingual boarding school in Lausanne, Switzerland. This will appeal to those thinking about a career as a teacher or working with young people, as well as those wishing to improve their language skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Residential and administrative work in the boarding house, morning and evening duties; overnight supervision as required
• Supervision of homework
• Alongside the school nurse, provide support and take students to doctors’ appointments
• Reception duties, coordination of airport transfers
• Assistance during outdoor and extra-curricular activities
• Attend weekly training & support meeting

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree level education preferred
• Awareness of Child Protection guidelines
• Proficiency in French is a plus
• Self-starter and enthusiastic with excellent collaborative and interpersonal relationship skills
• Ability to keep composure when working under pressure
• Clean criminal records
• Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
