KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the smooth operation of the chemistry laboratory, assisting teachers during experiments, and maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient lab environment for students
Prepare and set up laboratory apparatus, materials and equipment for chemistry practical sessions
Maintain inventory and stock of lab equipment and consumables
Monitor and enforce laboratory safety protocols and guidelines
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of scientific instruments
Support in documenting practical work, reports, and lab records
Dispose of materials safely and follow waste management procedures

PROFILE & COMPETENCIES

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or diploma in Chemistry, Science, or a related field
Prior experience in a school laboratory setting preferred, ideally in an international school environment
Working knowledge of chemistry lab equipment and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and team spirit
Bilingual French & English
Clean criminal records
Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
