KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Teaches mathematics in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
- Shares in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development,
- health and safety, and well-being of students
- Creates a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of posi-tive discipline
- Acts as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
- Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all learners
- Communicates effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning, achievements and progress
- Plans for, assesses, and reports student learning and progress
PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES
- Teaching qualification at graduate level or above
- Completed qualified IB Mathematics training
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment
- Experience as an Extended Essay supervisor and IB examiner is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and team spirit
- Fluency in both English and French
- Clean criminal records
- Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
