KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Teaches mathematics in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
• Shares in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development,
• health and safety, and well-being of students
• Creates a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of posi-tive discipline
• Acts as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
• Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all learners
• Communicates effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning, achievements and progress
• Plans for, assesses, and reports student learning and progress

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

• Teaching qualification at graduate level or above
• Completed qualified IB Mathematics training
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment
• Experience as an Extended Essay supervisor and IB examiner is an asset
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and team spirit
• Fluency in both English and French
• Clean criminal records
• Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
